This terrace garden in Urmston began as a completely blank canvas after the removal of an old garage. Working from a detailed design by Green + Wood Garden Design, we brought the concept to life — creating distinct areas for cooking, entertaining and quiet relaxation.

A combination of quality materials and lush planting was used to soften the structure and add depth to the space, turning a plain yard into a cohesive, modern garden that feels private, usable and calm. Built to a £16k budget over three weeks, this project shows how thoughtful design and skilled construction can completely transform a compact urban plot.
